Role Description

As a Client Sales Executive at NetApp, you sell products and services to existing and new customers, building relationships and meeting evolving needs. 

Responsibilities include business development, securing new accounts and new territories, prospecting, responding to RFPs, creating proposals, and achieving sales goals with support from cross-functional teams. 

Your skills in relationship building, negotiation, and technical expertise are crucial. 

Job Requirements

•    Develop selling opportunities within existing and new accounts, in addition to partner accounts.
•    Schedule and attend sales calls, determine customer needs.
•    Propose evaluation projects and criteria.
•    Utilize a consultative approach to address customer business issues.
•    Respond to RFPs, develop account management plans, and close top opportunities.
•    Build customer relationships, recommend marketing strategies, and provide status updates.
•    Most importantly, meet set targets and goals as decided by NetApp. 
•    Provide training opportunities, identify customer references.
•    Travel for briefings, trainings, and meetings.
•    Attend training, calls, and meetings.
•    Respond to requests and maintain relationships with supporting functions.
•    Minimum 10 years in direct sales 
•    Strong communication skills.
•    Collaborative work style.
•    Ability to understand technology solutions and their business impact.
•    Clear conveyance of information and analysis.

•    Apply experiences and knowledge to solve issues independently.
•    Self-driven, adapted to uncertainties and challenges.
•    Responsible for specific accounts.
•    May work independently or in a team.
Interaction:

•    Work effectively with internal personnel, supporting functions, and customers.
•    Minimal management direction provided.
•    Contribute as a subject matter expert, influencing decisions.
•    May act as a team leader for projects.
