As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.

Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. Responsibilities includes Lead the design and impact analysis of all new features and enhancements. Lead all aspects of Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) in-line with Agile and IT craftsmanship principles. Identify methods to sustain and improve various craftsmanship areas. Lead the timely delivery of assigned artifacts with defined quality parameters. Perform code review and ensure the quality of code, constantly. Automate manual tasks of application maintenance and support to improve efficiency.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• 5 to 7 years of experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects
• Java development (Maven, Spring Boot, Spring security, Spring Data Flow)
• Ui development with React and Angular and Monitoring solution and Monitor the overall production processes such as daily checks, open tickets and aging of issues. Collaborate with customers, partners, development teams, chapter and feature teams
• Container with Docker, esp. with deployment on Kubernetes
• Infra as code with Ansible and Terraform and Constantly learn new/emerging technologies and mentor teams
• Ensure constant review and update of Agile and DevOps practices
• Co-ordinate with development team and implement audit recommendations. Complete the assigned learning path and contribute to daily meetings
• Guide the team on data processing solutions and building data pipelines. Identify new areas of technology and use cases for data validation and implementation

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Employee will have demonstrated successful experiences in Java development with UI in Angular with deployment in Production on cloud environment (Private and Public) as well as good written and oral communication skills
• Agile methodology must be mastered as well as ability to work in a distributed cross-country team
