Qualifications

Role Responsibilities:

  • Grow and support the Salesforce Federal Government Public Sector business (approximately 70-80% time spent)
  • Drive and originate $4-8M in Salesforce solution sales annually
  • Create, manage, and implement go-to-market plans for Salesforce solutions with targeted customers (Federal Government and other Public Sector) in coordination with public sector leadership.
  • Build and qualify a new business pipeline based on high-end Salesforce solutions
  • Actively market the Huron brand, establish customer expectations, and shape opportunities by developing white papers, sponsoring demonstrations, and similar activities. 
  • Serve as the sales solution architect in responding to Federal RFXs.
  • Manage, develop and maintain relationships with Salesforce vendor sales team
  • Serve our clients providing exceptional client service to multiple Salesforce Federal Government and other Public Sector industry specific clients. Target annual utilization will be approximately 20-30%
  • Support oversight of active engagements, including project health and economics, as directed by Industry Leader or Salesforce Managing Director.
  • Maintains communication and collaborates directly with public sector industry lead, federal portfolio leaders, federal sales team, and public sector growth enablement team (GET)

Qualifications:

  • Over 8 years of experience in the Federal Government industry selling and/or implementing Salesforce solutions.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive understanding and extensive experience within the Federal and Public Sector
  • Demonstrated track record of success in business development roles in response to Federal Government opportunities, including working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), budget and authorization process
  • Experience proving oversight and leading Salesforce solution implementation engagements for Federal Government and Public Sector customers.
  • Extensive knowledge of Federal Government professional services selling and the ability to build and sustain long term relationships with clients to drive revenue
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written – and the interpersonal skills needed to quickly establish relationships of trust and collaboration
  • Ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level client executives on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism
  • Proven thought leadership as indicated by speaking engagements and/or publications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of different scale and duration
  • Ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions
  • Huron requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Local to DC area is strongly preferred

The estimated base salary range for this job is $175,000 - $225,000.  The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy.  Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $218,750 - $303,750. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
