Summary:
Performs diverse and complex assignments in support of Premium CT product development. Assignments may include, but are not limited to: set up and running of Premium CT equipment for tests, carrying out experiments, troubleshooting, and reporting/documenting results of tests and measures, lead compliance and quality activities, and train other team members. Additional responsibilities include detailed system troubleshooting, repair, and support to ensure bay uptime for engineering development. Ensuring assigned work areas properly maintained to ensure a safe and productive work environment, as well as occasional customer, show, and off site testing and troubleshooting support.

Job Description

Must be able to work onsite daily out of our Waukesha, WI location.
Responsibilities:

Utilize initiative and independent judgment, troubleshoot and maintain premium CT engineering equipment to ensure maximum uptime in support of new product development.

Anticipate troubleshooting needs and perform complex troubleshooting encompassing multiple variables and unknowns to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution with minimal oversight.

Recommend, design and build fixtures and devices as required to support new product development in Premium CT.

May support engineering teams in developing software and hardware evaluations, to implement plans using knowledge of the product, system operation, complex engineering tools, and interactive software tools as required.

Work with the management team to lead and deploy training plans as needed.

Take ownership for business objectives including, delivery, EHS, productivity, materials, costs, output, cycle time, and quality.

Provide technical assistance by phone or in person to customer, field service personnel, or suppliers as needed.

Travel to show sites or customer sites to assist or lead system level installations, problem resolution, and diagnostics as required.

Little or no direction is given in execution of job related activities.

Comply with EHS regulations and policies and perform duties related to EHS, other regulatory, or workplace policies
Required Qualifications:
-
Associates degree, or a High School diploma and 5 to 7 years technical experience
-
1-2 years of technical leadership experience

Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a team of technicians
-
Demonstrated intuitive and advanced proficiency to logically troubleshoot up to system level, using identifiable problem solving techniques and previous experience
-
Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and coordinate implementation of corrections to the existing design or process
-
High proficiency to interpret and explain complex technical information.

Demonstrated proficiency to utilize and modify computerized work systems
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Demonstrated ability to work with little to no direction

Demonstrate an ongoing effort to maintain knowledge of current technology
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology related field
