Women are often socialized to be more emotionally intelligent and empathetic, traits that can be highly beneficial in resolving conflicts in a way that addresses the emotional needs and interests of all parties involved. However, reliance on these gendered expectations can also place an undue burden on women to manage and resolve conflicts, sometimes at their own expense.
