Session: Mitigating Risk: The Power of FMEA Analysis and Incident Management
In this talk Shweta will talk about the scientific method to prevent unknowns that potentially leads to failures sooner or later! Her focus will be in how different contributors participate in this analysis and the role of design in preventing and educating products about customer behavior.
Shweta will talk about how to gain insights into system behavior, detect performance bottlenecks, identify anomalies, and respond proactively to incidents, reducing mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to resolve (MTTR).
It is important for designers and engineers to know what kind of analysis is required to mitigate incidents? How can we reduce Customer FCIs (failed customer interactions) significantly? How can we build a resilient system? And How to build a system which handles FCIs gracefully.
This talk will help you get these answers and define Incident management process from a customer's perspective.
