Session: Do the Right Thing - Board Diversity in Tech
Our rules of law are not keeping up with reality for women. Even though California has become the first state to have 30% female representation in the boardrooms of publicly traded companies since the passing of SB826 3 years ago, as of May 2022, this law has just been overturned. Regardless of the debate over board quotas, getting more women onto boards has been proven to allow for better decision making, demographic representation as well as risk reduction.
