Bio
Dr. May Wang serves as the CTO of the Internet of Things at Palo Alto Networks, a public multinational cybersecurity company. She also sits on the board of directors for Cepton, a public autonomous driving company. Dr. Wang co-founded Zingbox which was acquired by Palo Alto Networks in 2019 for its AI-based cybersecurity solutions. Dr. Wang received her Ph.D. from Stanford University in Electrical Engineering.Dr. Rebecca Parsons is ThoughtWorks' CTO with more years of experience than she cares to admit. Her interests include evolutionary computation, software architecture and programming languages. Rebecca received a BS in Computer Science and Economics from Bradley University, and both an MS and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rice University.
Elaine Zhou is the Chief Technology Officer for Change.org, the world’s largest nonprofit-owned platform for social change with more that 600 million users worldwide.
As Change.org’s technical leader, Elaine leads a global engineering team of 70 & growing to drive Change.org to the forefront of Responsible AI, to elevate the platform capability and scalability utilizing distributed cloud infrastructure, and to engage repeat users through accessibility and delightful experience.
Prior to joining change.org, Elaine was the CTO at Vidado.ai, an Oakland AI startup that was later acquired by SS&C (NASDAQ: SSNC), dedicated to use Artificial Intelligence to help organizations unlock critical insight trapped in handwritten documents to drive their operations and strategy. Previously, Elaine was the SVP of Product Development overseeing engineering and product development at Clean Power Finance (CPF), a renewable energy startup backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Google Ventures.
Poonam Garg is an engineering leader and Women in Technology advocate working at U.S Bank. She has spearheaded cultural transformation around DevOps at U.S Bank through an agile and collaborative approach to software development. Poonam led the technical transformation by adopting industry best practices and cloud-ready solutions. Currently, she is leading an effort to enable engineering productivity. Poonam coached and mentored 50+ teams in the past year on activities such as the rearchitecting mainframe, DevOps tools, and immersing DevSecOps into Agile software development practices. She is an active speaker as well as a presenter in multiple forums, including Grasshopper.
