Bio
Often described as an very educated career-focused woman (5 completed university degrees and counting), I first studied English at the Hellenic-American Union, Athens and completed a Bachelors with Honours in Archaeology and Art History at the National University of Athens.
I later obtained a Certificate in Egyptology (University of Exeter), a Masters Degree in Practical Archaeology (University of Birmingham) and a Doctorate in Classics, Ancient History and Archaeology (University of Birmingham). My doctoral thesis was in Aegean - Egyptian relations c 1900-1400 BC. It examined Aegean - Egyptian interactions from a rather interdisciplinary point-of-view (Aegean Archaeology, Egyptology, Game Theory). Abstract on http://etheses.bham.ac.uk.
I volunteered in museums from 2011 to 2018. In 2018 I completed a Masters Degree in Museum Practice and Management (Ulster University). My dissertation discussed how sports cars are displayed in museums as a form of art.
Moreover, in December 2019 I completed a Masters Degree in International Business (Ulster University) with a focus on the Automotive Industry (uptake of electric and hybrid cars in the UK in relation to Brexit). I am currently studying for a Masters Degree in Strategic Public Relations (University of Stirling, e-learning).
I am a Coordinator of Faculty Affairs, the Master of Professional Development, and an Adjunct Faculty member (Volunteer) at the University of the People (UoPeople) instructing the courses 'Greek and Roman Civilization' and 'Art History'. I am also qualified to teach Business courses in Academia.
An experienced public speaker, I have given over 50 public lectures in the UK and abroad.
As stated above, I am passionate about archaeology and culture. I have participated in several archaeological expeditions in England, Greece and Egypt. I specialise in Aegean Archaeology, Ancient Egypt, Aegean-Egyptian relations, Minoan-Egyptian relations, Practical Archaeology, Fieldwork, Ancient Greece and Rome, Museum Practice and Management, Art History.
In terms of Business-related interests, I specialise in the Automotive Industry. My main interests in PR are B2B, and B2C communications and Public Affairs.
