We are looking for a SaaS Governance Business Analyst to join our team and help us manage and optimize our portfolio of SaaS applications across the organization. You will be instrumental in optimizing software licenses, reducing redundancy, and maximizing the efficient usage of our Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms. Your responsibilities will include identifying, documenting, evaluating, and monitoring all SaaS applications used by different departments and teams, and ensuring that they are cost-effective, secure, and aligned with our business goals and IT strategy.
  
You will be reporting to and working side-by-side our Enterprise SaaS Governance Senior Manager, as well as collaborate and build partnerships with IT, Procurement, and Business Stakeholders, and provide guidance and recommendations on the best practices and tools for SaaS adoption and management.

You should also have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. You should have a solid understanding of SaaS applications, their life cycles, and their impact on the organization's performance and efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • SaaS Application Management: Identify and documentall SaaS applications used across the organization and maintainan accurate and up-to-date inventory of them. Assess their functionality, cost-effectiveness, security, and alignment with business goals and IT strategy. 
  • License Optimization: Use SaaS Management software to analyze software license stock and usage data to identify opportunities for optimizing license allocation, minimizing costs, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.  Assist with license reclamation workflows using SaaS Management software and direct stakeholder collaboration. 
  • Redundancy Reduction: Work with the SaaS Governance Manager to identify duplicate or underutilized software instances across SaaS platforms and develop strategies to consolidate resources, eliminate redundancies, and streamline licensing requirements. 
  • Data Quality Oversight: Ensure data accuracy and quality in SaaS governance software to enable reliable renewal calendars, evaluation processes, and action plans for upcoming renewals. 
  • Ad-hoc Project Participation: Participate in SaaS Governance ad-hoc projects focused on process improvements, innovation, efficiency, and cost management, contributing expertise and insights to drive successful outcomes. 
  • Innovation in SaaS Management: Actively contribute to driving software cost management innovation throughout Relativity by proposing and implementing new strategies, tools, and processes.  Participate in industry training, test new solutions, provide feedback and improvement ideas. 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Help build partnerships with IT, Procurement, and Business Stakeholders to align SaaS initiatives with organizational goals and priorities. With time, provide guidance and recommendations on best practices and tools for SaaS adoption and management ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. 
  • Tool Selection and Best Practices Advisement: Assist stakeholders in finding the most effective tools to increase business effectiveness by searching within existing software inventory. Provide guidance on best practices and policies. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field from a reputable institution. 
  • Consulting, project management or procurement experience preferred.  
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in IT governance, software asset management, or related fields is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and technologies. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. 
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within diverse teams and stakeholders. 
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Intermediate problem-solving, analysis and presentation skills. 

Compensation:

  • Compensation Relativity is committed to competitive, fair and equitable compensation practices
  • This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus target of 10%, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between 138 000 and 206 000gross/year (Employment Contract). The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
