Mobile Development Engineer
The challenge:
As a software engineer at Qualtrics, you should love creating simple solutions to build world-class mobile applications and Software Development Kits (SDKs). Designing systems in an agile environment to withstand hyper growth and owning quality from end to end is a rewarding challenge and one of the reasons Qualtrics is such an exciting place to work.
The Team:
You will join the team of 7 experienced and passionate engineers specializing in native iOS, Android and React technologies. Team’s main project is Qualtrics Mobile SDK that provides our customers with mobile feedback capabilities in their apps. The team is also working on an exciting feature set that will allow for registering app visitors’ sessions and behaviors (head to https://www.qualtrics.com/experience-management/customer/session-replay/ for more details).
In addition, You will:
- Develop user friendly, high performance, and robust mobile applications to deliver value to our customers
- Develop SDKs with user & developer friendly interfaces that will allow our users enrich their apps with our features
- Develop in native iOS and Android technologies
- Implement new features and optimize existing ones to drive maximum performance
- Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from other engineers, tech-ops, product managers, and UX designers
- Attend daily stand-up meetings, collaborate with your peers, prioritize features, plan the roadmap, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to your customers
Experienced Required:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Strong level of curiosity and interest to learn new tech stack
- Strong algorithms, data structures and coding background
- Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
- Knowledge of distributed systems and REST API design
- Working experience with creating mobile applications (iOS apps development experience welcome)
- Working experience with signing and provisioning processes of delivering mobile applications to mobile application stores
- Experience with professional software engineering practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documents)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Annual Leave: 20 or 26 annual leave days per annum plus an additional day for each year of service (to a max of 5).
