The Role
As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.
There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Job Description:
As a Terraform Developer, you should be able to write/develop Terraform scripts and modules to create/manage/destroy infrastructure for hybrid cloud environments. Should be strong with Terraform commands, best practices, deployments, debugging and troubleshooting. Should have knowledge and hands on experience with Terraform in provisioning and configuration of infrastructure resources.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform. Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure infrastructure is highly available, scalable, and secure. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure as code. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform. Maintain and enhance existing Terraform codebase. Develop and implement best practices for infrastructure as code. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of infrastructure with business objectives. Continuously improve the infrastructure using the latest technologies and industry best practices. Document infrastructure code and processes.
Skills:

4+ years of experience using automated pipelines that create and destroy infrastructure on as needed basis

4+ years experience working with public cloud providers (Azure is a Plus)

Experience in creating, managing, and deploying Terraform modules

4+ years of experience with Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology
-
3+ years of experience with logging, monitoring, and event detection on cloud or distributed platforms
-
Experience managing configuration, build and deployments for enterprise software solutions.

Experience building CI/CD pipelines and experience working with a GitOps pipeline
-
Build, manage, and support CI/CD orchestration pipelines for Terraform and deploy/test across environments
-
Experience with version control or source code repositories to include: GitHub, BitBucket, Artifactory, and Nexus

Experience working with ServiceNow

Understanding of network fundamentals, APIs and HTTP protocol

Experience with HashiCorp Sentinel and writing sentinel policies

Experience with HashiCorp Vault and Consul

Integrate with enterprise tools and environment standards

Collaborate with Application teams and onboard new application platforms onto the Ansible framework and author playbooks

Ability to understand critical issues and bring appropriate resolution to complex issues
