Are you excited to be among the speakers at the Women in Tech Global Conference 2022 and what motivated you to join our community of 100 000 women in tech, minorities, and allies?

I am extremely delighted to be joining the Women in Tech Global Conference for what will be my second time around. As a minority woman myself, who serves the tech community, I'm invested in doing my part to grow the confidence, connectivity, and competence of women in this industry. I recognized early on that the Women in Tech Global Conference community was a safe space for women to access all three and I was immediately on board.

Share with us about your background, your journey in tech, and what inspired you to develop your career in this direction?

I am a former educator, turned executive coach and corporate trainer. I've developed a strong connection to the tech community as a resource for keynotes, curriculum development or consulting. Essentially, in my former role as an educator, I was abruptly thrust into the helms of 100% online teaching and learning which ignited a curiosity within me to dive deeper into understanding how to leverage tech to improve teaching and learning. It was through this exploration that I began transferring my classroom skill set into speaking and consulting within the tech industry.

Who would you advise to attend the Women in Tech Global Conference and why?

The Women in Tech Global Conference is for any aspiring, emerging or advanced woman in tech who values intentional growth and networking. This is not your "typical" conference, but rather a community with a clear vision and welcoming countenance. If you're wondering how to show up at your highest as both a person AND a professional you will walk away with tangible strategies you can implement right away.

🎤 In her #WTGC2022 session "How to Overcome the Fear of Promoting Yourself ", Brittany Sherell will share her tips on how to fight anxiety, fear and insecurity to put yourself out there as an executive or entrepreneur.
