Rachana Kumar is a VP of Engineering, Managing Director of Etsy Mexico, where she leads several product engineering teams, directing engineering initiatives that impact over 2.3 million creative entrepreneurs and 45 million active buyers.
Before joining Etsy, Rachana served as a Graduate Consultant at Columbia University. Her experience spans multiple countries and industries, ranging from media and e-commerce in the US to sociopolitical space in India and international development in Cambodia.
She is passionate about using technology for good and has worked with the UN, Council on Foreign Relations, and ran her own non-profit.
