Designed for efficiency, On-Grid Robotic Pick (OGRP) solves one of the most complex fulfilment challenges - automating the picking and packing of grocery orders. Handling such a vast range of products is extremely challenging. Robotic arms need to be able to grasp and manipulate items of varying shapes, sizes, weights, and densely pack them into bags without damaging fragile products.This talk describes how OGRP combines cutting-edge machine vision, deep reinforcement learning and advanced sensing to pick and pack grocery items without any prior knowledge of what they are, making smart decisions on the fly.

Radhika has been in the world of Robotics, AI and Deeptech for the last 13 years in various roles as Business solutions Manager, Research Consultant, Subject Matter Expert, Innovation Lead, etc. Currently working at Ocado Technology as a Sr Research Coordinator leading the Robotics & AI R&D collaborative projects.Delegate in inter-governmental UK missions to: USA, Canada, CERN and South Korea.
