Session: Managing Burnout: Putting on pants and going to the gym may not be for everyone
Burnout! The buzz word of the pandemic. Working from home quickly became less about work-life balance and more about work-life juggling. A quick internet search will return a plethora of tips and tricks to "Avoid Burnout": guides to self care, reminders to put on pants and of course the importance of getting exercise. But now we are back in the office and juggling a whole new set of challenges. What have we learned?
In this presentation I will share some personal stories gathered from friends and colleagues of their experience with managing work-life juggling and burnout over the past few years. Through collective story telling we can pull from a range of experiences and practical tactics to take forward into our own lives. Turns out that putting on pants and going to the gym isn't for everyone.
