Recently my success story has been published by Forbes .
In this presentation I will share my story about building up a successful career in IT/ IoT in Austria. From Bosnia and Herzegovina to Austria and from there building up a successful international career. About 6 years ago she moved to Vienna from Sarajevo and started her career from zero. Without any job offering, not even speaking German language and no network or contacts that could support me in finding the job or recommending me internally for the job positions. Fast forward, Adela is leading a global business development team at one of the most innovative software and IoT (Internet of Things) company in Austria, holds an MBA degree from the Vienna University of Economics and serves as a Vice President of the global Female Leaders Network at Alma Mater.
How did I do it? I will tell you 10 steps that I undergone to kickstart my career in Austria and they have one thing in common: networking. I am a passionate advocate of the power of networking, and what carefully crafting your inner circle can do for your career. Your network is your net worth, as they say and I would add that its power is more important that ever.

Through our her career together with her Team she served customers in over 14 markets and has been actively involved in over hundreds of projects in field of digital transformation, big data and Internet of Things.Adela is a total powerhouse, a rising thought leader in the space of digital transformation.
She holds an MBA Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation as well Master in Telecommunications.
As a Vice President of the Female Leaders Network, she is committed to serving the WU MBA Alumnae across the globe by finding the right tools and networks to support them on taking their career to the next level.
