Yashaswini KS Bio
Yashaswini is the Executive Director of IT at Garden City University, Bengaluru, India. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication and began her career as a software engineer in the SAP domain at Tech Mahindra. She has furthered her expertise with an IBM Professional Data Science certification and is currently pursuing a Business Management certification from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.Passionate about promoting women in STEM, She serves as the State President of the Technology Empowerment Council for Karnataka at the Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI). She also volunteers with several organizations, including Google's Women Techmakers, Women in Tech, and the Women Tech Network, to support women and girls in technology.
Through her eCommerce jewelry store, Love Shine Collections, where she is the co-founder, she supports education by dedicating 15% of the company's profits to an education fund for deserving candidates. Her dedication extends to conducting awareness sessions in schools, where she educates students on cyberbullying prevention, digital security, and STEM careers. Under the WICCI banner, she organizes events focused on technology, women empowerment, and supporting women returning to the workforce post career break. She is speaker at tech seminars, panel discussions, and conferences, sharing her insights on technological advancements.
