The Solution Architect role is the cornerstone of the SAP Linux Lab partnership, and as the manager of the SAP Emerging Technologies Solutions team, your mission is to lead the team on exploring and building solutions for SAP based on emerging technologies, like HANA on KVM, Automation and Monitoring for SAP, Container and Kubernetes related technologies, among others.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SAP solution architects and engineers to provide developer support in SAP Linux Lab to SAP and their partners regarding your product area.
• Coach, support and guide the team
• Enable SAP Linux Lab solution architects/engineers and the broader SUSE SAP community on SUSE and SAP technologies as needed
• Plan, coordinate, and drive certification efforts for SUSE emerging Solutions for SAP.
• Investigate, coordinate, and prioritize (new) solution requests with SUSE product management, engineering and other internal and external stakeholders regarding your product area.
• Act as point of escalation for unresolved issues.
• Manage the team accordingly to ensure projects get delivered in quality, time and budget.
• Ensure timely reporting on project progress
• Communicate and interact with all SUSE and SAP stakeholders.
• Represent SUSE emerging technical solutions for SAP software to customers, partners, and SAP at international events (e.g. SAP Teched).
• Work as part of the broader alliances team to share resources, information and best practices
