What you'll do
  • Provide business insight, pricing and product knowledge, as well as analytical support to Sales, including customer interaction, for complex, non-standard transactions.
  • Review and approve quotes in Salesforce CPQ and provide guidance to Sales on the New Relic Quote-to-Cash process.
  • Prepare and review non-standard contracts (order forms, legal agreements, customer purchase orders, quotes, etc.) for compliance with revenue recognition, pricing, and Deal Desk business policies.
  • Safeguard and manage data quality in SFDC for all proposed and closed quotes/deals.
  • Engage in ad-hoc projects relating to Deal Desk practices and Finance business policy matters.

This role requires

  • 2+ years of Finance/Operations experience in a high-tech environment, preferably with order entry experience.

  • Experience with Zuora, Salesforce CPQ, and SalesForce CRM preferred.

  • Proven capability to build strong alliances with internal business units.

  • Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Possesses a quality of high attention to detail

  • Willingness to cover various time zones and work extra hours as needed

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a similar field required.
