The Role
Job Title: Trade Operations Program Manager
Job Summary: Develop, implement, and manage the company’s trade operations program in alignment with TCO corporate policies and procedures. Support business objectives and collaborate closely with Kyndryl Global Logistics to ensure timely delivery of shipments. Provide expertise in interpreting and applying regulatory requirements, including ECL, ACL, ICL, EIPA, USML, EAR Category 5, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), and the Wassenaar Arrangement's Dual-Use Goods and Technologies List (Category 5 – Part 2 "Information Security").
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the trade operations program in line with TCO corporate policies and procedures.
- Support business objectives and work closely with Kyndryl Global Logistics to ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Provide deep expertise in the interpretation and application of regulatory requirements, including ECL, ACL, ICL, EIPA, USML, EAR Category 5, USMCA, and the Wassenaar Arrangement's Dual-Use Goods and Technologies List (Category 5 – Part 2 "Information Security").
- Handle Canadian GEP-12, GEP-46, and GEP-45 permit applications and compliance.
- Determine appropriate ECCNs, HTS codes, and manage the process of obtaining necessary licenses from US and Canadian licensing authorities.
- Review and validate commercial invoices for accuracy and licensing.
- Provide subject matter guidance on international trade controls and compliance questions to Kyndryl internal teams, ensuring strict adherence to trade compliance in everyday operations.
- Serve as the primary contact with licensing authorities in both the US and Canada.
- Provide training to internal teams on trade operations regulations and requirements, including the Controlled Goods Program.
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders and logistics providers to ensure efficient and compliant movement of goods.
- Monitor changes in trade regulations and adapt company operations as necessary.
- Conduct internal audits of trade practices and procedures to ensure adherence to regulations and TCO policies.
- Perform DPL Screening, including resolution of false positives.
- Prepare, review, and complete key shipping documents, including commercial invoices, shippers' letters of instruction, and airway bills, ensuring they are accurate and comply with all relevant regulations.
- Maintain meticulous records of all trade operations activities and documents, ensuring compliance with the company's records retention policy.
- Strive to minimize the environmental impact of shipments and promote sustainable practices within trade operations.
- Complete regulatory reviews to identify new product import requirements for importers of record.
- Collaborate with Kyndryl Hardware Compliance and Environmental Compliance Teams to ensure seamless imports.

Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience using GEODIS eOrder System.
- Proven expertise in international trade regulations and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of ECCNs, HTS codes, and licensing processes.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to manage relationships with freight forwarders and logistics providers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to promoting sustainable practices within trade operations.
