What's the role?
Bloomberg is looking for an event technician to join the Global Event Team. In this position the candidate will be managing the technical success of Bloomberg’s event portfolio. The role will serve as the primary technical contact for our virtual, hybrid, and in-person events; collaborating with event managers and clients to produce events across multiple platforms and venues. Reporting to the EMEA Event Technology Lead, this role will support events across all of Bloomberg’s business verticals and will have the opportunity to influence the evolution of Bloomberg’s Event Technology program.
This role requires an organized individual with a passion for technology and proven customer service acuity. Working across multiple events simultaneously, the candidate should have strong, in-the-moment problem solving skills with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

* Drive customer satisfaction through confident and knowledgeable customer service interactions.
* Communicate clearly, confidently, and persuasively with internal and external partners to provide topline, best-in-class support services.
* Be proficient in the event landscape - aware of current trends, vendors, and standard processes for delivering virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.
* Provide full end-to-end technical support for your assigned events, working closely with the Event & Marketing Managers to provide audio-visual support across all event formats.
* Collaborate with cross-functional team members such as A/V, Bloomberg TV, Facilities, Information Systems, Studio team, etc.
You'll need to have:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in live and virtual technical event production.
* Firsthand experience and technical knowledge of:
* Digital Event Platforms
* Digital content production and streaming
* Live encoding applications (vMix, OBS, LiveU)
* Technical production experience across one or more fields - audio, video, lighting, broadcast, technical drawing
* Adobe Premiere Pro
