Akamai's Global Communications team drives thought leadership, shapes perceptions, and engages employees. They collaborate with leadership to develop communication plans aligned with Akamai's strategic vision and objectives.

Partner with the best

Your role involves implementing global communication strategies to enhance Akamai's reputation within EMEA and possibly Latin America. Collaborating closely with regional corporate communications leaders and the broader team o achieve their goals and objectives.

As a Corporate Communications Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Driving media coverage across all channels, playing an active role in managing Akamai's reputation in EMEA.
• Creating powerful content, solid storytelling that gains media coverage and maximizes Akamai's share of voice in markets.
• Collaborating with PR agencies to meet goals, managing the press office, and ensuring timely media responses.
• Communicating proactively plans to ensure transparency and understanding between stakeholders, balancing between corporate and local needs.
• Collaborating with corporate communications and regional leaders to execute internal communications, keeping employees informed and engaged with business priorities. Reinforcing Akamai's mission, vision, and values.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have proven communications experience in similar role within major EMEA markets,along with solid PR agency management skills.
• Have excellent written and spoken communication in English. Additional skills in a major European language (nice-to-have)
• Have solid skills understanding/translating technology concepts into impactful messaging and content, (Often across diverse vertical markets)
• Have proven and solid presentation and verbal communications skills.
• Have excellent time management skills, an ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
• Have Experience with G Suite products and multimedia software tools.
