May is lead counsel for AI/AI governance at McDonald's Corporation. She thrives on working with engineering and product teams in the development and release of GenAI applications, developing strategies to mitigate product, regulatory, privacy and other legal risks in practical ways, and building processes to scale flexible solutions that address risks.
May is a member of McDonald's GenAI Center of Excellence, and is a founding member of a cross-functional AI governance working group of leaders from global business, technology, cybersecurity, data strategy and government affairs. The group spearheads the design, development and implementation of McDonald's global AI governance program, and May leads the development and training on various guidelines for AI risk reviewers and AI users.
May has 15+ years of experience in global technology, privacy, and commercial law transactions and had the privilege of leading a regional team as Head of Legal at another Fortune 500 company while based in Asia.
