Session: Software-defined Virtual Networks in Cloud
Large-scale software defined networking systems are common platforms used for running variety of applications and maintaining data like web apps, email services, search engine services, etc. This talk covers the concepts of software-defined virtual networks, as well as will dive into the journey of key features and design choices which led to one of the largest networks in the world.
Bio
I am a software engineer at Microsoft Redmond in Azure Software-Defined Virtual Networks team. I have been working in this space for last 3 years (out of total 4.5 years in Microsoft). Prior to Microsoft, I completed bachelor’s in computer science and engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, and have done few internships (in Amazon, Microsoft, and Max-Planck University).
