As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as the main point of contact and technical resource to the customer for all related issues
- Aggregating support issues and working them out with Akamai technical teams and the customer.
- Assisting with deployments, expansions, transitions, etc
- Raising product related issues that should be looked at by Akamai's Product team.
- Facilitating quarterly business review with R&D and support either on site or via WebEx
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 2 years experience and a Bachelors degree or its equivalent
- Have Intermediate experience in Unix/Linux (preferred) or Windows system administration skills
- Have a steady understanding of network protocols and basic troubleshooting on network/OS devices
- Have experience with automation/configuration management using Puppet, Ansible, Chef or an equivalent management tool used for CI/CD
- Have some experience in at least one programming language: BASH, Python, Perl, Ruby, GO, etc.
- Have basic skills in version control systems such as Bitbucket/Git, TFS and other CI/CD tools e.g. Rundeck, Jenkins, Terraform, Kitchen, Packer, Vagrant, etc.

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $113,430 - $170,043/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
