Your day at NTT DATA

The Network Engineer L3 provides a service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational through proactively identifying, investigating and resolving technical incidents and problems and to restore service to clients by managing incidents to resolution. Their primary objective is to ensure zero missed service level agreement conditions. The Service Delivery Support Engineer (L3) focuses on third line support for high complexity incidents.

What you'll be doing

• Monitor operational infrastructure: you will leverage standard tools and processes to respond to and resolve incidents and requests in a timely manner meeting agreed SLAs.

• Identify problems and errors: you will proactively identify problems and errors before they impact a client’s service. They log all such incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail

• Being responsible to implement projects to replace/upgrade the current infrastructure with new versions or solutions.

• Knowledge management: you will actively apply knowledge articles for routine activities. Actively contributes to creating and updating knowledge articles

• Quality Management: you will audit and analyze incident and request tickets for quality and recommend improvements with updates to knowledge articles

We are looking for Network specialists responding to these main criteria:

• The candidate must be native to a NATO. A valid or previous NATO Secret Clearance is an asset.

• At least 6 years of field experience in the networking area with Cisco solutions (LAN, MAN, and WAN).

• Knowledge of Cisco ACI or Cisco SDA is an asset.

• The activity is a combination of projects Operations & Maintenance, so an experience with one or the other activity is an asset

• Knowledge of monitoring solutions such as Nagios and SolarWinds is recommended

• Diploma, degree, or relevant qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience

• English is mandatory. French is a good asset

• IT certifications are a great asset
