Job Summary

The Product Pricing Analyst will be responsible for assisting in development, implementation, and maintenance of the pricing and discounting strategies for the NetApp family of products. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining competitive pricing intelligence. In this role, you will help drive business and strategy decisions with your superb analytics, business modeling and market research skills.

Job Responsibiities

As the Pricing Analyst, you will work as part of a team focused on defining and implementing pricing strategies for new products through value-based pricing and market-based competitive analysis. You will assist other Product Pricing Managers in the team to build sound financial models, business cases and forecasts to support the pricing strategy.

The Pricing Analyst will own driving the competitive pricing guidance for all hybrid cloud products. This will include working with other pricing managers and cross-functional team members to understand the competitive landscape, the competitive offerings and mining competitive intelligence data from public and 3rd party resources.

Experience with analytical and reporting products is a must. This role will require utilizing statistical methods for analysis, understanding of pricing trends and specifically the ability to define what questions will be asked of the data. This is a data-centric role and you will be getting your hands dirty with the data to prove or debunk your hypothesis.

This individual will be efficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously and will have the ability to work cross functionally with Product owners, Finance and Sales Operations teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Job Requirements

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or a related analytical field.

  • 2+ years combined experience in Enterprise Storage or related (Compute or Networking) industries in Pricing/Analytics or related field.
  • Experience with Analytical/Statistical tools like BI, Tableau, MS Excel etc.
