Job Description Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of a set of modules in our distributed IoMT Internet of Medical Things platform and technically drive and own all aspects of them. This will include all phases of Software Development Life Cycle for the given modules – requirement analysis, design, coding, test automation and integration to the subsystem or platform. You will work independently and contribute to the immediate team in Agile development paradigm.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of an Agile Scrum team playing the role of a senior developer and contributing independently to the outcomes of the team.
  • Identify the scope of the work and provide estimates with good accuracy.
  • Deliver the agreed scope of a sprint and support Scrum master/product owner where required in achieving the same.
  • Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and automation.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation with good quality.
  • Keeping up to date with C++ standards and advancements in application development.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in equivalent streams
  • 7+ years of software development experience with good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in C++ implementation and designs. Good knowledge of language specifications and constructs.
  • Sound knowledge in parallel or multi-threaded programming.
  • Good knowledge of the standard library, STL-Standard Template Library containers, and algorithms.
  • Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and coding principles.
  • .Good understanding of Linux/Unix OS (Operating system).

Desired Characteristics:

  • Knowledge of C++ 11 or above standard is appreciated.
  • Experience in automation using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) approach
  • Exposure to Google test frameworks (gTest) will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous deployment) tool chains (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Code review tools).
  • Exposure to developing containerized applications/services in Docker/Kubernetes environment.
