Quantum cryptography, especially quantum key distribution (QKD), introduces a paradigm where the act of observing a communication alters it, effectively making eavesdropping detectable. This feature could indeed make it the ultimate solution against data interception threats. However, considering cyber threats as a whole, which include a myriad of attack vectors beyond interception, quantum cryptography is not a cure-all. Its implementation also requires significant infrastructure and technological advancements to be widely effective.
