Increasing visibility and representation in data science is crucial for creating a more inclusive and diverse industry. My experience in the tech sector, especially in the areas of analytics and natural language processing (NLP), has shown me that visibility does more than just inspire—it also breaks down stereotypes. When women are seen as experts in data science, it challenges outdated assumptions about who is 'fit' for such roles, opening doors for others to follow.
