To close the gender gap at its root, policy changes are needed to improve access to STEM education for girls from an early age. This includes integrating computer science and technology subjects into school curricula from primary levels, providing scholarships and funding for girls pursuing STEM degrees, and running outreach programs and workshops to spark their interest in technology.
