⚡️ Save the date: Women in Tech Global Conference 2023 will take place on May 9-12!

Are you excited to speak at the Women in Tech Global Conference and what motivated you to join our community of 100 000 women in tech, minorities, and allies?

I am incredibly excited to speak. I spoke at last year’s conference and was blown away by the engagement from the community. This community has a lot to offer and I am energized to give back to it.

Share with us about your background, your journey in tech, and what inspired you to develop your career in this direction.

I am currently the Chief Information Officer for Omnicom Health Group. Coming out of college, I was not entirely sure what I wanted to do with my business degree but I started to explore opportunities in technology and quickly found it to be a great fit for me. I spent the first 20 years at GlaxoSmithKline which allowed me to try out a breadth of roles in technology and find my passion. The thing I connect with most in Technology is the constant state of learning and curiosity you need to embrace to grow and feel energized throughout your career.

Why is the topic “My Journey to the C-Suite, ask me anything” important to you?

Last year, my topic was about my journey but it was structured as a fireside chat. The amount of questions coming in through chat had us pivot to answer what was really on everyone’s mind versus what we set out to answer. I thought a session like this would be very valuable to the community.

Who would you advise to attend the Women in Tech Global Conference and why?

This conference has something for everyone whether male or female, in technology or not, and at any level of the organization. If you have a passion for technology and the topics surrounding it, you will find great content to participate in.
