Session: Kyndryl Technical Women Advancement Program
Kyndryl Technical advancement program is a internal initiative within Kyndryl to support the development of women in technical careers. This session is going to go over the motivation to create a program like that, how it works, the results achieved so far and also share tips on what went well and what did not. The idea is to share experiences with the audience so that other programs like that can be created to support women in IT.
Bio
Daniela Mainieri is an Architect in the global Security and Resiliency practice at Kyndryl. She has deep technical skills, holds several certifications, and is an inventor with 12 filed patents. She sets the technical direction and contributes to Reference Architecture elements by driving and developing: Global standards and Best Practices, Resiliency Solution Designs, Technical Health Checks, Large and complex projects, and High-quality deliverables. She is passionate about identifying and resolving problems, working with people, and learning.
Claudiane Silva is the Team Leader of the Operations team and the Batch team. It serves some clients in Brazil and North America. She has some technical certifications and loves working as a Leader. She works solving problems, bringing innovation, new practices, solutions, and data analysis to clients. She supports the team with concerns, new activities, new customers, processes and procedures, and technical skills. She likes challenges, working with people, and learning every day.
Fernanda Decreci is a Database Administrator (DBA) for DB2 and IMS over the past 10 years. She loves the technical work, solving problems, and providing new solutions to the customers.
She found people who are generous and willing to teach throughout her 18-year career and she hopes to do the same, passing her experiences and knowledge is one of the things that motivates her.
Isabel Miranda is an Architect and IT Consultant with over 30 years of experience in the field, currently working at Kyndryl Brazil. She holds a degree in Business Administration and later in Social Sciences. Isabel earned an MBA in People Management from FGV and is currently pursuing a Professional Master's degree in Production Engineering at Centro Paula Souza. She has worked as an architect in various industry sectors and at companies such as IBM, Grupo Pão de Açúcar, Prodesp, banks, and financial institutions, among others, in Brazil, Latin America, the United States, and Europe.
Isabel is the leader of the Kyndryl Innovation Community and is also active in the Diversity and Inclusion field as the leader of "Cross-Generation," which focuses on communication and support among generations. She holds several technical certifications, including Certified IT Architect by The Open Group and two filed patents.
Hima Mourao is a Data Manager at Kyndryl supporting IZPCA (IBM Z Performance and Capacity Analytics) for American Express. She holds a degree and master’s degree in computer sciences and is an inventor with one filed patent. She has worked in IT for 18 years and Mainframe area for 15 years. She is passionate about learning and sharing knowledge.
