About the Role:

The Solutions Consultant is
responsible for supporting the Yardi Sales team in their sales processes by
serving as a functional and technical subject matter expert on Yardi solutions.
The Solutions Consultant demonstrates products, advises clients and prospects
on product utilization, participates in sales calls, assists with creating
sales tools and demonstrations scripts, and participates in marketing events.

What You’ll Do:

  • Demonstrates products at a detailed level with a
    consultative approach while advising clients and prospects on how to best
    utilize the solutions.
  • Utilizes knowledge of Yardi products, industry,
    and competition to present value propositions to clients and prospects while
    supporting the sales team through their sales cycles.
  • Ensures the demo environment is accurate and
    current, including all demo data and appropriate sales applications.
  • Plays an integral part in their sales cycle
    strategies by working with salespeople and participating in sales calls and
    meetings with prospects.
  • Assists in the creation of relevant sales tools
    and demonstration scripts and conducts ongoing product training for the Sales
    team.
  • Assist with completion of RFPs and RFIs as
    required.
  • Provides market and customer feedback on
    supported solutions product management, development, and marketing teams.
  • Utilizes internal CRM diligently, recording all
    client activities, sales opportunities, and forecasts per training guidelines.
  • Participates in marketing events to promote
    Yardi Systems and Yardi’s products and services.
  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of
    assigned products, completes demo certifications on respective products
    annually, and continuously expands product knowledge and demonstration skills
    by presenting solutions to clients and prospects.
  • Meets or exceeds quarterly and annual goals.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or
    related field.
  • 2+ years of software sales or presales
    experience, preferably with a Cloud ERP or point solution provider.
  • Presentation and demonstration skills, driven,
    self-starter motivated to succeed.
  • Ability to interface with C-suite prospects and
    client with understanding on technical products.
  • Proven excellent written and verbal
    communication skills
  • Highly responsive with proven client-centered
    commitment and focus
  • Proven strong ability to meet critical deadlines
    and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
