Your opportunity
As a Principal AI Engineer at New Relic, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our AI-driven observability solutions. Your work will involve translating business roadmaps into technical requirements and architectures, developing a state-of-the-art Agentic AI platform with specialized agents and modular tools for discovery, navigation, context, and decision-making. You will help us utilize AI to empower users to understand their data and systems, reason, plan, and act with actionable insights from massive data sets. You will also lead the charge in integrating AI as a distributed capability across all product areas, driving innovation and scalability in our observability platform
What you'll do
- Architect and Develop: Design and implement our Agentic AI platform, comprising specialized agents for analysis and streaming data across observability products like anomaly detection, error outliers, and faulty deployment analysis. Be prepared to contribute hands-on to the development and architecture alongside the teams.
- Optimize: Build dynamic, automated, and scalable data-driven solutions to address customer issues accurately and efficiently. Provide your expertise to identify bottlenecks and drive technical improvements.
- Innovate: Analyze and make strategic technological choices for generative AI solutions and keep abreast of the latest trends in AI and machine learning. This role requires practical experience to experiment and implement state-of-the-art solutions effectively.
- Document: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for seamless understanding and future development. Hands-on involvement ensures documentation is both practical and actionable.
- Lead and Guide: Mentor the AI teams in building robust and scalable solutions, providing hands-on guidance and working alongside them to solve complex challenges.
Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations. Be ready to engage at a technical level to bridge gaps and deliver impactful solutions.
