The Role
This role involves managing and optimizing IT infrastructure, performing health checks, and ensuring effective communication with both local and global teams. The specialist will also handle project risks, quality management, and customer interactions, particularly with Japanese clients. The position requires working on innovative technologies and providing technical troubleshooting and system optimization.
Your responsibilities will include:

You'll be the mastermind behind maintaining and optimizing their systems, ensuring they're always running at peak performance.

Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and third-party suppliers.

Ensure delivered solutions are realized in committed time frame and meet client expectation

Establish a quality management system: tracking of project milestones, quality and KPIs

Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies.

You will interact with the Account team and Customer, so you are expected to be fluent in Japanese language, understanding Japanese work culture.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

Overall, 8 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in IT Infrastructure management projects
-
Language Proficiency: Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) and English, both written and verbal.

IT Skills:
-
Hands on knowledge on AWS / Any other Cloud Hyperscale services preferred
-
Proven experience on Service Delivery, specifically in managing infrastructure projects within or similar scale enterprise environments.
-
Proficiency in IT systems, including networks, hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
-
Experience with cloud technologies, databases, or programming languages is a plus.
-
Experience with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
-
Good understanding of Distributed Console & Batch monitoring environment using available tools.
-
Handle production operating system resource availability.
-
Monitoring various Job status and Late queue etc.
-
Monitor scheduled batch jobs and batch cycles, resolving any non-application scheduling conflicts.
-
Monitoring for SLA checklist and make sure of the SLA jobs completion within the given SLA time.

Performing adhoc requests like Demanding, Cancelling, Holding Jobs.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

Project management certification (PMP).

Experience in system management, network administration, and technical support

Coding skills python

A solid understanding of operating systems (such as Windows, Linux, or Unix), networks, and software systems

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals.

Strong Documentation skills, with ability to create SOPs or Manuals / Presentations / Meeting MoM
-
Strong Presentation skills, with ability to not just interpret confidently but actively listening before interpreting

Experience in working with Japanese clients or in a multicultural team is preferred.

Ability to work independently and you manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Able to demonstrate strong management skills including project management and financial management, preferred

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Strong problem-solving, RCA and decision-making abilities.
-
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within strict timelines.

Stakeholder Management: Experience of successfully engaging management and groups of technical and non-technical stakeholders Japan /India

Perform root cause analysis, resolution and / or critical issue for production systems.

Monitor customer infrastructure and act as first point of contact for any alerts registered on the monitoring tool

Work according to SOP’s (In Japanese)
