Join our Property Accounting Team!

The Property Accounting Team is a Global Team responsible for two big accounting areas: Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting. The team is responsible for month-end closing process, accurate and timely data entry, lease related accounting accordingly to ASC 842 including new rent agreements analysis, maintains Fixed Assets registers as well as ensures balance sheet accounts accuracy and completeness.

By collaborating with other Akamai Organizations including divisional finance and FP&A, the Property Team gains an in-depth knowledge of the Akamai Business. We use our knowledge and experience in many interesting accounting cases that we analyze every day. For our team the key aspect is to grow with team spirit and working in friendly atmosphere.

As an Accountant Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Closing month-end and year-end process within Fixed Assets Accounting area
• Entering data within Fixed Assets area in an accurate and timely manner
• Ensuring balance sheet accounts accuracy and completeness (including preparation/review of balance sheet reconciliations)
• Preparing assigned month-end accrual estimations (e.g. PO accrual, CAPEX)
• Driving process improvement within one's scope of operations and on international scale

• Demonstrate good analytical skills and be able to draw clear and relevant conclusions
• Possess proficiency in Excel and speak, write and read English language fluently
• Have a working knowledge and understanding of general ledger accounting
• Be motivated to learn and demonstrate a proactive approach
• Be cooperative, communicative, and able to work in virtual and fast-changing environment
• Have finished studies in Finance or Finance related major
