We hear a lot about design and how it is important to the creation or enhancement of systems, products, and even immersive experiences (also in the metaverse) - but how do we truly design better, more comprehensively, more inclusively, or more accessibly in today's tech-driven world? How do we begin to affect meaningful change in organizations and businesses? Let’s explore how the understanding of strategic design and how knowledge around schemas and mental models support and elevate design program foundations, which ultimately enable us to design better and innovate in today’s tech-driven world.
Bio
Natasha Rabsatt is an experience designer, XR strategist, advisor, and the founder and CEO of NAR Creative LLC, which is a strategic design and advisory firm that supports businesses and organizations with posturing for the future by building strong design foundations to enhance inclusion, sustainability, and mindfulness with immersive experiences (such as with AR/VR) in the metaverse.
She leverages cross-disciplinary research, travel, art, science of learning, UX, UI, AR/VR and other immersive technologies for social good. Natasha has also led the creative vision for global enterprise learning initiatives, spearheaded XR program start-up and governance, advised on technical alignment for immersive technologies and platforms, and led cross-functional teams to build XR literacy and design inclusion.
She enables people and businesses to use current and future immersive technologies in practical and responsible ways with emphasis on human-centered design, accessibility, wellness, education, environment, safety, and inclusion inside and outside of the Metaverse.
