Session: Ditch Self-Improvement Myths to Define Your Own Growth Path
We all strive for growth. We want to grow our careers, our relationships, our skillsets, our own gardens--the list never ends.
In our efforts to improve, we focus on the “tried and true” advice. But what if the “best practices” aren’t the best for us? And how do we approach personal growth in a time when surviving seems like enough?
I believe that we have accepted myths about growth and development that are detrimental to the improvement we so genuinely seek.
In this session, we’ll look at how these ideas create a narrowly defined path to success and why charting our own path is especially necessary during difficult times in life.
When we ditch these old beliefs, we not only get closer to our true goals, we enjoy the process more along the way.
