Job Purpose:
As HRI Service Delivery Advisor for Greater China, the role will report to the HRI Service Delivery Manager, GC, play a pivotal role in supporting the effective implementation of HR strategies and initiatives across Greater China ensuring that all HR operations within the region are conducted efficiently and in compliance with local laws and company policies.
The primary focus for this role will be on delivering high-quality HR services that enhance employee experience and support business objectives. This includes managing key HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, policy development, and administration of HR systems.
This role will work closely with various stakeholders within the organization to resolve employee queries, provide guidance on employment legislation and best practices, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of HR policies and procedures.
Working closely with within the HR International team to help foster a positive and productive work environment, ensuring that HR practices support the strategic goals of the organization and promote a culture of engagement and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day HR Support
- Provide efficient and professional day-to-day HR support and services, ensuring all HR matters comply with company policies and local laws and regulations.
- Handle employee inquiries covering a wide range of topics for employee whole life cycle.
- Manage employee File, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and maintained in accordance with company standards and legal requirements.
- Perform employment contract management, filings, contract renewals, and employee service anniversary arrangements.
- Work related visa process management, renewals for foreign employees and their eligible family members.
- Provide support to employees’ various requirement from the government authorities, including but not limited to issue employment certificates, visa application letters, register talent points system, hukou applications, etc.
Onboarding and Offboarding Management
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing necessary documents, arranging orientation and HR system set up.
- Manage offboarding procedures, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed smoothly.
System & Data Management
- Ensure accurate entry and updates of employee information in HR systems.
- Effective HR systems data input, maintenance, holidays & absence administration and tracking, etc.
- Collect, organize, and analyze HR data to provide insights for managerial decision-making.
- Participate in system design, testing, and feedback cycles as needed to ensure that HR systems meet the organization's requirements and facilitate efficient operations.
Employee Relations Maintenance
- Support and foster positive and healthy employee relations, assisting in resolving disputes between employees or between employees and management as needed.
- Focus on employee well-being, providing necessary resources and training support.
Policy & Procedure Updates
- Participate in the regular review and update of company HR policies and procedures to ensure they remain current and aligned with the company's strategic goals.
- Assist in developing and maintaining an internal HR knowledge article base for easy access by employees.
Project Support
- Assist the HRI Service Delivery Manager in driving various HR projects or cross-departmental collaboration projects as needed.
Ad-hoc support to other HR related projects, tasks
Requirement:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or above
- 6+ year experience in HR generalist role, MNC experience, preferable in the matrix corporation.
- Thoroughly understand China Employment Law and relevant regulations
- Fluent in both English and Chinese(Mandarin), both written and spoken
Skills/knowledge:
- Proficient in MS Office suite and other HR software tools.
- Great communication skills and able to build/maintain relationships with staff at all levels
Experience:
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work effectively in a multitasking environment.
- Strong team player but also capable of working independently.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changes.
