Team and Activity Description: 

In a context of energy, technological, societal, and regulatory changes, the energy sector is evolving significantly to meet the challenges of energy transition, securing supply, and developing new uses. As part of our growth, our Technology Strategy & Transformation (TST) team is recruiting Senior Consultants to Senior Managers in Information Systems Strategy specialized in the energy sector, to support major players in the sector in their technological transformations.

Your Missions: 

You will be called upon to work with General Managers, Information Systems Directors, and Digital Directors to carry out missions:

  • Framing and steering strategic transformation projects in the energy sector
  • Support in identifying and choosing the best technological solutions for the business (e.g., conducting benchmarks, steering the consultation process)
  • Support in identifying and choosing the best partners for the implementation of solutions (e.g., drafting specifications, steering the call for tenders)
  • Defining target architectures, developing transformation business cases, and creating implementation roadmaps
  • Defining the organization and improving the performance of the IT department

Recruitment Process: 

It generally takes place in 3 interview stages (HR, business, Partner) where your English will be tested as well as your hard skills through case studies (guided) that may be proposed during the interview. The interviews serve to discuss your background, assess your skills and expertise, and answer your questions.

Your Profile: 

  • With a higher education background (engineering or business school), you have a successful experience of at least 3 years in the energy sector on consulting missions or with a consulting mindset. 
  • Knowledge of the functioning of energy sector players, their positioning, and challenges (e.g., role and improvement related to smart meters, from customer to supplier, system balance, etc.) 
  • Mastery of the evolution challenges of the energy sector (e.g., opportunities offered by smart grids, constraints of electric vehicle development and EV charging infrastructure for networks, management of renewable energies, metering and billing of consumption, interest in predictive maintenance for networks, storage management, market operations, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of various market solutions suitable for the energy sector (e.g., CRM, metering solutions, CMMS, GIS, SCADA, ERP, demand management, etc.) and data processing Knowledge of methodologies and frameworks to steer the implementation programs of this transformation (Agile, DevOps, SAFe, TOGAF, etc.) 
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) 
  • A range of interpersonal skills: excellent relational sense, adaptability, good listening and communication skills, and a sense of service.
