As part of Access Engineering team, we work on developing 'zero trust security solution' for enterprise customers. Our mission is to provide Next-Generation Access solutions to enterprises, integrated with 3rd party Identity providers and the world-class Akamai platform. The Enterprise Access product provides access, authentication, analytics systems, and other value-added services to enterprises.

As Principal Software Engineer you'll build new products and enhance existing ones. You'll develop/improve proxies, load balancers, authentication systems, SSO systems, two-factor systems, bigdata analytics systems, scalable backend systems. These products and services are used daily by end users to accomplish their work.

As a Software Engineer Principal, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the architecture and design of products deployed in data centers and multi-cloud environments.
• Developing scalable, high-performance solutions leveraging Kubernetes, including the creation and management of Kubernetes Operators.
• Driving architectural decisions to ensure seamless deployment and integration across multiple cloud providers and on-premise infrastructure.
• Collaborating with engineering, product management, and DevOps teams to align technical architecture with business goals.
• Ensuring product designs support scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-tenancy.
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering and DevOps teams to deliver robust and secure solutions.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Bachelors Degree & 11+years of experience in software architecture & development in languages(C, Java, Golang, Python)
• Have knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization technologies like Docker and Podman and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, including its architecture, CRDs, and operator patterns.
• Have expertise in multi-cloud architectures, deployment strategies, and cloud-native technologies.
• Have good knowledge of SSO technologies and protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and their implementation.
• Have problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex architectural challenges.
• Have written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
