One often overlooked aspect of ergonomic support is the availability and use of gender-specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Women in tech manufacturing frequently have to make do with PPE designed for men, which can be ill-fitting and ineffective. Providing access to PPE that accommodates different body types not only ensures better protection but also prevents the extra physical strain of wearing unsuitable gear, thus improving overall workplace ergonomics for women.
