Girls are more likely to pursue a career in STEM if they see successful women in those fields. Schools and communities can foster this by connecting students with female mentors in STEM professions, organizing talks and workshops by inspiring women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and highlighting achievements of women in these areas regularly.
