Multimedia content is a game-changer when it comes to getting your message across to as many people as possible. It took me a while to learn that lesson because personally I love taking time to read long and insightful posts, and I failed to see that most people respond best to less text-heavy and more impactful formats. There is a lot of content out there, and most people simply don't have the time to sit down and wade through a wall of text for the information they need. You could be putting out the most interesting, well thought-out content in existence, but it won't matter if no one reads it!

Videos and infographics make all the difference because they catch the eye, and give people the information they need in a quick, digestible way. Podcasts are excellent too: people are busy and podcasts can be listening while doing any chores, or driving - all the moments when reading is not an option. I didn't realize how convenient they are until I started listening to podcasts myself while driving to work! It’s so much interesting content I would have missed out on otherwise, simply because I don’t have enough hours in the day to sit and read.
